My experience includes a wide variety of communications: translating, writing, reporting and TV production.

This breadth of skills inspired me to found Mundo Translations, a translation agency that specialises in Spanish, Portuguese, English and Dutch.

I lead a team of native speakers, each with his or her own specialisation. Every translator is carefully briefed; Mundo Translations ensures that your company's message gets translated as authentically—and as fluently—as possible.

Background

I graduated from the University of Leiden (the Netherlands) with a degree in Spanish & Portuguese business, language and culture. Post-graduate studies at the University Carlos III in Madrid completed my education.

Working in Brazil and Spain (five years) contributed enormously to my understanding of language and culture. Employed by Roche and ABN Amro, I earned work experience in both a bi-lingual context and a corporate setting.

Upon returning to the Netherlands in ’99 I worked as a financial journalist for AFX/MoneyView. As a freelancer in the years that followed, the role of reporter led naturally to producer and translator as well.

Mundo Translations captures the languages, the cultures, and the industries of my expertise; clients include the BBC World Service, TV3 in Spain and ING Group.
